Coming soon: Bojuna Men’s Grooming Hair Clay Cream
Coming soon. Still in development and not yet available to buy.
A first look at Bojuna Men’s Grooming Hair Clay Cream — an instant cream-to-matte styling formula designed to move from weightless texture and lift to firmer, more polished control.
The starting point was straightforward. We wanted the ease of a cream, the texture of a clay and enough control to make it genuinely useful on shorter hair.
Used sparingly through dry hair, the cream works in almost invisibly before settling into a soft matte finish. There’s lift, separation and grip, but very little sense of product sitting on the hair. It’s particularly effective when you want texture without losing movement or making the style feel heavy.
Use more and the character changes. The grip becomes more apparent, definition sharpens and the hair takes on a firmer, more deliberate shape.
Then we tried it on damp hair
That was already close to what we had in mind. Testing on damp hair added another dimension.
We worked the latest formulation through damp hair and found that the increased wax structure gave considerably more firmness. Rather than remaining loose and highly reworkable, the hair began to form and hold its shape.
The finish changed with it. Damp application brought through a slight natural sheen and a more controlled, polished look — closer to classic styling, but without the weight and stickiness usually associated with a heavier wax or pomade.
It means the same product can behave quite differently depending on how it is used: light and matte on dry hair, more structured as the amount increases, or firmer and slightly slicker when applied damp.
One formula. Three very different styling directions.
Use a small amount on dry hair
Lightweight texture, separation, lift and a natural matte finish.
Build the amount on dry hair
Greater grip, sharper definition and more controlled shape.
Work through damp hair
Firmer structure, stronger styling control and a subtle natural sheen.
Formulated with a different approach
That versatility has become one of the more interesting parts of the development.
Behind it is a considered balance of clays, waxes and conditioning components rather than a formula built around the conventional PVP-style film-forming systems found in many mainstream styling products.
We’re keeping the finer details of the formulation to ourselves, but the intention has never been to make something worthy simply because it is different.
It still has to perform like a serious styling product.
And increasingly, it does.
What began as an attempt to create a lighter, more refined alternative to a traditional clay is developing into something broader: a cream that can add almost imperceptible texture with a fingertip amount, but has enough structure to create a much sharper style when pushed further.
Cream on application. Matte in the hair. More control when you ask for it.
The formulation is still being refined ahead of launch. This is a preview of what we’re developing; Bojuna Hair Clay Cream has not yet been released.

Bojuna Hair Clay Cream is being built for the way men actually style their hair — not around one fixed finish, but around a product that changes depending on how you use it.
